Making a Website
Designing a website can be very difficult. There are a lot of things you need to consider in order to have a high-level website that does well on Google. Things such as color schemes, images, word choice, and basic website layout can all be very important in your website design. In order to create an eye-grabbing, attention-stealing, website you will need to follow five rules...
Don't overwhelm your viewers' eyes
Don't use too many words
Make sure your website design has a distinguished tone
Add graphics
Be creative!
1. Don't overwhelm your viewers' eyes
It's easy to get carried away and ramble on while typing sections of information. However, it is best to avoid this. Long bunches of text are a huge turn off for viewers of a website. If you want to make your website appealing to the eyes of your viewers, limit the number of words you use in each section. Get down to the point as quickly as possible and avoid rambling. If you just can't seem to shorten the number of words in a section, consider taking it off of your website's interface and instead, write a blog about that topic. Use words that readers understand but also make them think a little bit. If you are able to get a reader to re-read a section based on interest, that is positive. However, if you force a viewer to re-read a section because they don't understand it, you need to revise and edit that section.

3. Adding tone to your website design
If your business is serious and doesn't leave time for jokes, consider designing your website in a way that reflects that. Use sharp shapes such as squares and rectangles. If your business is more on the fun side and likes a joke every now and then, reflect that instead. Make sure your viewers are able to experience your business's personality just by looking at your website.
4. Add graphics to increase usability
People love images. Most people would rather receive a message through pictures and graphics than through words and reading. Pictures stimulate our brains and give us a warmer feeling than reading a long section of text. That being said, make sure your website has many images that match your color scheme and relate to whatever topic you are explaining. Website design can explode with life with a few simple, colorful, bubbly, pictures, or images. Even short videos can be extremely satisfying to a viewer. One way you can set your website design apart from others is by adding videos that explain what your business does and what you stand for.
5. BE CREATIVE!
When you are making your website, unleash your creative side. Take inspiration from other websites, use trial and error to find a cool design, and add cool and relevant content. Using your creativity to design your website will often do the same for the viewer of it. Most people would rather look at an innovative, sleek design rather than a black and white traditional one. Push yourself to create a smooth, polished, website design that you are proud to call your own.
